The University of St. Gallen and its School of Management is seeking an
Assistant Professor (tenure track) in the area of entrepreneurship or innovation.
The professor will be part of the Global Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (GCEI), which bundles the University’s research activities in the areas of entrepreneurship and innovation with the goal to generate global impact through high quality research, teaching and knowledge dissemination.
The triple accredited (AACSB, AMBA, EQUIS) university offers a stimulating research environment and a large network of partner companies.
The assistant professorship has a clear research focus in terms of top end international research output in the fields of entrepreneurship and/or innovation. The thematic focus of this position is on the core topics of entrepreneurship and/or innovation processes in today’s uncertain, technology-centered, and socially diverse business landscape. In this way we do not necessarily wish to impose a narrow thematic focus for this position but search for a colleague who complements and enriches our existing areas of expertise and methodological competences. Teaching quality is traditionally of high importance at HSG, and thus teaching requirements are within the school’s and international standards on all levels (Assessment, Bachelor, Master, PhD).
We seek candidates per February 1 st 2022 or by mutual agreement. For further information, please contact Professor Dr. Hato Schmeiser, Chairman of the Appointment Committee (facultyposition@unisg.ch).
Candidates should submit their application to the President of the University of St.Gallen, Professor Dr. Bernhard Ehrenzeller online at the latest by August 15th, 2021.
