StartUp4Climate, the first national founders’ initiative for green economy in the world, presents awards to green start-ups and green promoters of start-ups.
The national founders’ initiative StartUp4Climate invites parties involved in the green economy to apply for the StartGreen Award. Green economy start-ups have generated more than one million new jobs in the last 10 years. With the StartGreen Award, StartUP4Climate wants to highlight the importance of this area of entrepreneurship for Germany. Furthermore, the initiative aims to support start-ups in the areas of climate protection and sustainability, as well as connect start-ups, promoters of entrepreneurship and investors. The focus is on the community: the green start-up scene manages the process through the StartGreen portal and members can select their favorites.
Barbara Hendricks, the Federal Minister for Environment, Nature Conversation, Building and Nuclear Safety, is the patron of the prize.
