The FGF has more than 340 individual and over 40 institutional members (as of December 2016).
The members are based at more than 150 universities and universities of applied science, predominantly in German-speaking countries.

A listing in the database is voluntary and is open to every member of the FGF. Members can specify up to 5 key categories to describe their particular area of expertise.
